Wow, this is so exciting! The first entry in my photoblog, something I've been saying I'll do for ages. It's quite a daunting thought having to post 3 photos a week up here but I guess that's one of the ideas behind this site, to take more photos and experiment a bit.

Anyway, this photo was taken over Christmas in Coire an Lochain in the Cairngorms. My Dad and I were climbing a route called Western Route (IV/6 if that means anything to you ;-)

I know it's May but I felt I had to start with this photo as it was the main inspiration for the site's name. Besides, I love snowy photos so you'll probably see a lot more, regardless of the time of year!
